By now hopefully you understand that every deed only conveys
“color of title”…
But what does ‘color of title’ really mean?
Let’s first take a quick look at what ‘color of law’ means…
“…without the substance of legal right.”
Since 1913 (when the banks took over) our country has been mostly operating under ‘Color of Law’ in virtually every sector of government…
So going back to ‘color of title’…
The Supreme Court of Missouri has stated: “When we say a person has a color of title, whatever way be the meaning of the phrase, we express the idea, at least, that act has been previously done … by which some title, good or bad, to a parcel of land of definite extent has been conveyed to him.” St. Louis v Gorman, 29 Mo. 593 (1860)
A color of title is an appearance of apparent title that does not convey true ownership. The warranty deed, quit-claim deed, sheriff’s deed, trustee’s deed, judicial deed, tax deed, will, all merely convey color of title.
And realize that some things that may appear too good to be true, are actually true.
