In reality, “homeowners” are actually the #1 renters for the government. This is because all property in the U.S. is patented, at least until 1913 when the Federal Reserve Act was passed. 

Let’s take a quick look at the term ‘mortgage’…

Mortgage – (noun) a document in which the owner pledges his/her/its title to real property to a lender as security for a loan described in a promissory note. 

YIKES!Who would WILLINGLY want to sign a ‘dead pledge’?

To be enforceable the mortgage must be signed by the owner (borrower), acknowledged before a notary public, and recorded with the County Recorder or Recorder of Deeds.

That recorded Warranty Deed tucked away with your other safe papers merely conveys “color of title”. This simply records in the Public Records that you are merely in possession of the property, not the legal owner.

Perhaps this is what the elite have been meaning when they say – “You’ll own nothing and be happy.”

While THEY will try to convince you otherwise…

The land patent is the only form of proof of absolute title to land in the U.S. It protects the landowner from claimants of co-ownership as well as the government.

Perhaps the biggest benefit to patenting one’s land is if you are outside the city limits, you can remove your property from the tax roll. Yes, you read that correctly! It is possible to stop paying property taxes on your land through the patent.
