How Much Does Forming a Trust Cost?

Another question we get is: “How much does forming a trust cost”?

Honestly, if you do it yourself – a trust doesn’t cost much to set up…

Really, it’s just the cost to print and mail a few papers. So around $510.

If you’re establishing a trust for business purposes you’ll want to establish a C-Corporation as well.

But those are very minor costs (~$50-100) compared to what it would cost you to establish a trust if you were to have an attorney do it for you.

When it comes to an attorney forming a trust…

The costs will be MUCH HIGHER!

20-30 hrs billed which would total around $4K-5K+ for a custom trust!

Some students have even said their attorneys quoted them $10,000-12,000!

And that’s just to create the paperwork!!!

A MAJOR KEY to Forming a Trust That’s Private:

But here’s the real lynch-pin…

Unless your lawyer or attorney is willing to temporarily “put away their BAR license” and draw up your trust in a private capacity...

Any trust (including an Express Trust) that a lawyer or attorney drafts for you will be statutory in nature thus removing all private benefits that would otherwise be receivedMaking it virtually useless for asset protection.

The worst part is, after all that money spent for forming a trust, you still won’t know how to operate it which is the most important part

If you’re thinking you would rather have their attorney do it…

It’s the private nature of this contract that gives the Express Bulletproof Trust its power. When established by a public entity – opens itself to legislative control.

Wouldn’t you rather have some idea of how a private trust can & should operate before running to hire an attorney?

You should know that even if you forming a trust yourself, you can still hire legal advice if you want (on behalf of the trust).
