Wondering how to get rid of debt?
What if you could remove your debt AND…
…get another credit card from the same provider AND…
possibly even get paid for them not validating the debt?…
However, those are some mighty big claims, aren’t they?
Today we want to share a story of a student that did exactly that with Capital One. *Name has been blurred to maintain privacy.
[SPOILERS] they got the account off their credit report and got paid $500 for them not validating the debt! Pretty sweet, right?!
How to Get Rid of Debt & Get Paid by the Creditor
This student actually gave Capital One two opportunities (by sending two letters via certified mail) and also sixty days to validate the debt. After getting no response, they started a case.
The good news is – even though our student filed a case, they didn’t have to pay open a case or go to trial to resolve this.
While the court date did get pushed back a month by the Capital One lawyer, the case did get dismissed with prejudice.
How in the heck did they get PAID $500 from Capital One?
Due to the settlement agreement, Capital One had to pay the student $500 for not validating the debt.
All the student had to do was send in a W-9 and also some other paperwork to verify identification.
That’s what is possible when you hold the banksters accountable.
But that’s not all…
They even got a new Capital One card with a $2,000 credit limit right off the bat! We’d say that’s “having your cake” and getting to “eat it” too!
(Keep in mind, this student got the new card within DAYS of getting the previous debt removed, so no need to worry about ‘down time’.)
Wouldn’t you love to do what this student has done by learning how to get rid of debt, get paid & still be able to obtain credit from the same lender?
